Everyone has a story to tell. Whether I'm crafting the editorial concept for a brand campaign, researching an article, or co-writing a book, I love finding a strong, smart voice that rings true and resonates with readers. I've created brand taglines and style guides, dreamed up product names, demystified skincare ingredients, investigated Alice Waters's earliest food memories, detailed how to make the perfect piece of toast, reported on an Olympic gold medalist snowboarder's winter skin routine, and talked to Debbie Harry about beauty and aging.
I connect brands with their communities through storytelling and strategic, results-oriented copy. I have nearly 20 years of experience working in beauty and the magazine publishing industry; for the past decade, I've developed messaging for a range of brands in the clean beauty, fashion, food, wellness and baby care spaces. I'm a longtime writing collaborator with food activist Alice Waters of Chez Panisse and the Edible Schoolyard Project, and was co-author of her 2017 New York Times bestseller, Coming To My Senses: The Making of a Counterculture Cook, and her 2021 publication, We Are What We Eat: A Slow Food Manifesto, published in three languages.
